I took Ms. Averlyn's T/C lesson for the first time in a while (probably 17 days). At the beginning, I shared some of my recent experiences (reuniting with classmates and trying lacquer dyeing, etc.) and we exchanged opinions. I struggled to communicate with her, as I needed to use specialized terminology and other unusual vocabulary to explain things to her, so I looked things up in a dictionary and showed her photos of my experiences. She listened attentively to what I had to say and asked me very insightful questions, which impressed and delighted me.

And from time to time, to check if she understood my somewhat lengthy explanations, I asked her to summarize the main points of what I said. Surprisingly, she responded with over 90% accuracy almost every time. This method may be rude to the teacher, but it seems very effective to me. This is because both she and I need to pay more attention to our speaking and listening, and we can also reconfirm the content. And above all, I find the lesson more enjoyable this way.
